As with any surface around your home, cleaning will be required from time to time with glass splashbacks. Over the years, we have received feedback from many clients who have been happy with the results achieved using standard glass cleaning solutions available at supermarkets, diluted vinegar or methylated spirits.
At Ultimate Glass Splashbacks, we provide our customers with a complimentary bottle of our own cleaning solution (pictured) specially formulated for glass splashbacks that will leave your glass streak free. Our solution is also available to purchase (keep an eye out for sales and discounts throughout the year). The UGS cleaning solution is a short term solution and great for those smaller areas.
For a long term solution, we highly recommend our coating product. The UGS coating is a liquid we apply onto the glass surface directly following installation of your glass splashback. The product has a marine grading and comes with a 10 year warranty. For those customers who elect to have the coating applied, they no longer need to use harsh chemicals on their glass. Simply cleaning the glass with warm water will remove any stains or oil from the surface. Our coating allows water and oil to bead on the surface just like a non stick frying pan, making it very easy to clean.
We also advise our clients purchase good quality micro-fibre cloths as they do not leave lint or dust on the surface of the glass and can be easily washed and re-used.
